Dilworth is a historic neighborhood of Charlotte located near South Blvd and East Blvd. Dilworth was Charlotte's first streetcar suburb and was established in the 1890s. However, the homes currently in the neighborhood were built ranging from 1900 up to 2017 so there are many that are newly renovated. The majority of the homes are bungalows with and average of 1900 square feet.
Dilworth includes Latta Park, which is a 31 acre park with tennis and volleyball courts, picnic grounds, playgrounds, walking trails, and fitness trails. The park is designed to be family friendly and even includes a water themed playground specifically for children. The neighborhood is centrally located, close to major highways, restaurants, and shopping centers offered by downtown Charlotte.
